E-mail me when new CE monographs are released:

This spring, the NCIDQ Board and staff are on the road promoting the value of the NCIDQ credential!

Although we continue to promote IDEP, the NCIDQ Exam and professional registration to student and professional groups every month, attending conferences and trade shows allows us to broaden our reach.

In March, we participated in the Interior Design Educators Council annual conference in Austin. This month, we will staff a booth at the HD Expo in Las Vegas. Then we'll be on the road to Chicago for NeoCon.

We go to all these events to promote the benefits of credentialing and licensure to students, emerging professionals and the public. By raising the visibility of interior design credentialing, we support you, our Certificate holders, as well as our member regulatory boards.

Next time you're at an industry event, look for us and say hello!

Industry Connection

Come See Us at NeoCon!
NeoCon 2007

Join us at NeoCon, the premiere industry event of the year!

NeoCon World's Trade Fair will bring together thousands of design professionals and more than 1,200 showrooms and exhibitors for three days of energy and ideas!

Visit NCIDQ at Booth #8130 on the 7th floor! Get the latest information on the exam and IDEP, buy CE monographs and pick up a free NCIDQ ribbon for your name badge.

This year, we are also sponsoring two CE events!

Kimberly Marks, author of our Structures in Interior Design CE monograph, will present our Association Forum. Increase your awareness of how interior design decisions can affect the integrity of building structures.

DAK Kopec, Ph.D., author of our forthcoming Designing for Diversity CE monograph, will present our CEU Seminar. Kopec will present innovative ideas on how to create healthcare designs that respect our society's great cultural diversity.

We will have our CE monograph courses for sale at both events, so you can earn even more CEUs on your plane ride home!

Louis S. Tregre Award

Call for 2007 Tregre Award Nominations

Active Certificate holders are invited to submit nominations for the 2007 Tregre Award recipient.

The Louis S. Tregre Award recognizes an individual for outstanding volunteer work at the grassroots level in support of the NCIDQ mission. The award was created in 1991 to honor the memory of Louis Tregre, who served as NCIDQ President from 1974 until the mid-1980s.

Your nominee may or may not be an interior designer, but should be someone whose volunteer efforts at the grassroots level are furthering NCIDQ's mission of public protection.

Send us your nominee's name and contact information, a written recommendation of approximately 150 words, your name and contact information, and the name and contact information of two additional people who can verify the nominee's qualifications.

Nominations are due by July 1, 2007.

QLetter back issues are always available on our Web site.

Do you have a colleague who doesn't receive this newsletter? We send it to all Active Certificate holders for whom we have an e-mail address on file. Encourage your colleagues to e-mail us with their new contact information.
