MyNCIDQ is your portal for online services. If your Certificate Renewal date is in the spring, you should have received your paper bill in the mail in the first week of March. Save time by going to MyNCIDQ to renew online!

  1. Go to MyNCIDQ, accessible from our home page.
  2. Log in using the e-mail address on your Certificate Renewal Notice as your username. If you don't know your password, select “Forgot your Username or Password” to retrieve your password. Do NOT register as a first-time user.
  3. Update your personal information.
  4. Select “Complete a Form” on the left-hand side of the screen (under “Forms”).
  5. Select “Certificate Renewal.” This will take you to the Certificate Renewal Survey.
  6. When you have completed the survey, click on “Submit Form” to move to the payment screen.
  7. Pay the $40 renewal fee by credit card (you can also mail in a check). We take Visa, MC, AmEx and Discover.
  8. Click “Submit Order” ONLY ONCE. Allow a minute or two for the system to process your payment.
  9. You’re done! NCIDQ will send you a new wallet card verifying your Active Certificate status for the next year.

After you renew online, please discard or recycle your paper Renewal Notice. Do not mail or fax it to NCIDQ.

Please contact us with any questions or feedback. Thank you for your support!

Student Connection

NCIDQ Hosts
Interior Design Students

SCAD Student Group

In December, NCIDQ hosted a group of 11 interior design students from the Savannah College of Art and Design at our office in Washington, DC.

The students were on a 2-week study trip, visiting design firms and cultural attractions in Washington and New York. The group used our office as home base for two days of interior design firm visits and building site tours.

While we don't often host students in our office, NCIDQ reaches out to interior design students in many other ways:

  • Ambassador presentations to student groups
  • Participation in ASID/IIDA local chapter events
  • Handouts and giveaways at industry shows (NeoCon, etc.)
  • Connecting with faculty through the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC)

Do you have a friend or colleague who doesn't receive this newsletter? We send it to all Active Certificate holders for whom we have an e-mail address on file. Please encourage your colleagues to update their contact information with us by logging into MyNCIDQ.

Moving? Log onto MyNCIDQ to update your address.
