NCIDQ Hosts Interior
Design Students
In December, NCIDQ hosted a group of 11
interior design students from the Savannah College
of Art and Design at our office in Washington, DC.
The students were on a 2-week study trip,
visiting design firms and cultural attractions in
Washington and New York. The group used our office
as home base for two days of interior design firm
visits and building site tours.
While we don't often host students in our
office, NCIDQ reaches out to interior design
students in many other ways:
- Ambassador presentations to student groups
- Participation in ASID/IIDA local chapter
events
- Handouts and giveaways at industry shows
(NeoCon, etc.)
- Connecting with faculty through the Interior
Design Educators Council (IDEC)
