Examination Dates & Deadlines
IMPORTANT: Application and registration are two separate steps in the NCIDQ Exam process. The process is similar to applying to a college for admission and then registering for classes. Once your NCIDQ application has been accepted, you may then register for the exam section(s) you wish to take. You need to apply only one time to be approved for the NCIDQ Examination. Beginning in 2009, the application deadline for each administration will always fall on June 1 (for the fall examination) and December 1 (for the spring examination). *Candidates will be notified via e-mail regarding how and when to register. Registration begins in early-mid July for the fall examination and early-mid January for the spring examinations. Once your application is approved, you then become eligible to register for exam sections. You can register for one, two or three exam sections in any combination. If you fail a section and need to repeat it, you can register for it again in the next exam cycle.
